Large porcelain sculpture of Napoleon Bonaparte on horseback. Made at the Meissen Porcelain Napoleon Crossing the Alps (1801 - 1805).
This sculpture shows Napoleon on a horse which rears up. Below the pair is a crushed cannon. The base has an "N" for Napoleon.The underside of the sculpture has the Meissen Crossed Swords mark. Germany 2nd half of XIX cent Porcelain. Mount height - 74 cm. Length - 46 cm good preservation.
