CARL THIEME Dresden Potschappel Figurine Winter Horse Drawn Sleighride AS IS. MAKER: Carl Thieme / Saxonian Porcelain Factory - Potschappel. MATERIAL: Porcelain Figurine on a Velvet wrapped base. HEIGHT: 7 1/4" with base; 6 1/2" without. WIDTH: 4 1/4" at widest; base is 6 1/2".
LENGTH: 11 1/2"; base is 14". CONDITION: Horses hoof is broken off - but will be included if you desire to reattach. Horse has loss to both ears.
Driver's hand was previously reattached but could be done better. Piece would have had leather or cord reins which are missing. Despite the various issues, this piece is interesting and complicated enough that you have to search for them. It's a great looking piece and would be at home on a mantelpiece.
