Antique 19th C Victorian Staffordshire Pottery Flatback Equestrian Figure Horse
For sale is an Antique 19th C Victorian era Staffordshire Pottery featuring An flamboyant Equestrian lady Figure on the Horse back. It is a large statue, measures approximately 13 tall and 9 wide. The back is flat with some wavy texture. Very brilliant yet gentle color, no visible damage. There is a small area with glaze loss on the base. It is barely noticeable since it is white. There are also a few small chips on her skirt line and a hairline crack on the back.
But overall, these minor imperfections are not bad at all and are very common with these old and fragile Staffordshire ware. See last three pictures for conditions.
