Antique 19th century English Staffordshire Girl With Basket Riding a Horse Ceramic Figurine. The girl looks like Little Red Riding Hood. In very good shape; well painted and molded. Hand-painted with a quick naïve stile. Has many details, such as the horse's hair and tail, details on the grass, etc.

There is a small hole on the base that was part of the firing process. The base has a few flea bites along the edge. Felt pads are not originally part of the figurine and appear to have been applied much later. Measures 9"H; the base is 5.75" x 2 1/8. Please refer to pictures for further detail.
