Vintage Rosenthal Fine Porcelain Horse Figure by Theodor Karner. 7x7x2 On the underside (by the horses testicles) is a spot in the 2nd to last picture that seems to not have the glaze on it. Its more of a mar than chip. And then further up by the chest by the leg underneath, last pic, it appears to be a finger print, although the lines of the finger arent there the intendation makes me think its a fingerprint and if that is to be expected or not, i dont know. Also, under the identification mark 1136, is a light 2, so could be a second quality vs a first.

Neither blemish takes away from the beauty of the piece and it looks flawless upon gazing without deep examination. Figure of a galloping horse, made of the finest white porcelain by Rosenthal of Germany.

I believe this is model number 1136 was issued circa 1957 Bahnhof-Selb factory and titled'The Stallion Mohammed'. Well marked, with the green Rosenthal mark and with the incised attribution to Prof. 7.5" x 7" high x 2.
