A fabulous porcelain figurine of a Thoroughbred race horse with jockey, titled "The Winner", by artist Doris Lindner, produced in 1959. Production was discontinued by 1980.

This piece is outstanding in all regards, from the very fine detailing to the superb decoration. The jockey's silks are painted in the Queen's racing colors. It comes with a separate wood plinth into which the base of the horse fits. Overall size is 11" tall by 12" long, including the wood base. Please look at the closeup photos to appreciate the fine details.

We are experienced porcelain shippers. This piece has been in my personal collection for many years and has been kept behind glass in a display cabinet.
