Rare Vintage'Asta' Kaiser Porcelain Thoroughbred Horse - Series Number 643 - Signed Wolfgang Gawantka - No Original Box - White Bisque. A truly stunning sculpture of a standing'Thoroughbred Horse', the exquisite detailing really brings this figurine to life by capturing the true characteristics of this magnificent animal. A truly delightful gift for any horse lover or a sure must for any serious collector of fine art & sculptures. Designed by WOLFGANG GAWANTKA, born in Dresden, Germany in 1930, who studied in the Meissen School of Art, and who joined Kaiser in West Germany after his immigration from East Germany.

Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Signature incised on the sculpture, AK Kaiser stamp.
