MINT condition, Austrian Porcelain Figure of a Standing Lipizzaner Stallion and Rider by the Vienna Porcelain Manufactory Augarten, titled "Hofburg Wien", for the Hofburg ring at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. Base is stamped with underglaze shield/beehive mark,'Wien' and'Augarten; Wien, Austria. Has impressed numbers 1591, Made in Austria. Also stamped "Dobrich" on top shown in pictures. Albin Dobrich worked at Augarten- the Porzellarifabrik Augarten A.

Vienna in the 20's and 30's. He is most famous for his horse figures. All around, one of the most impressive pieces with zero flaws! Please ask for more pictures if desired.
