It remained factory sealed inside its original Styrofoam packaging for over 30 years.

I carefully opened the Styrofoam only to verify the contents and take photographs. The horse itself has never been removed from its original protective plastic wrapping and has never been displayed. Beautifully crafted in Lenox's fine ivory porcelain with hand-painted holiday details and 24K gold accents, this carousel horse features festive holly, ribbons, wrapped gifts, and stands on its original wooden display base. It is a wonderful addition to any Lenox Christmas collection or carousel horse display.
