1840's-1850's Authentic Antique Staffordshire Flatback

  

Offered to you is this fantastic 1840's - 1850's Authentic Antique Staffordshire Flatback featuring a Huntsman on horseback with dogs. It is ceramic and has no chips or cracks and no repairs. It does has a small chip that was done when it was made because it is covered with glaze. It is on the bottom side on the back and not noticeable. There are a couple of spots on the black hat that have paint loss and these are on the side and back.

Camera glare caused some spots that look like chips but aren't. Has fine age-related crazing on the back side. The backside is not painted which is typical of flatbacks of this period. Has a bluish tint to the cream color on the back.

This piece still has vibrant colors with minimal wear.
