Vintage Japan Hand Painted Porcelain Horse & Carriage Victorian Figurine 1950s. Overall - 10" long x 5" wide x 5.5 tall. Figures - 3.25" tall / Horses - 3.5" tall.

Made in Japan in the early 1950s when I acquired it - single owner piece. "FOREVER YOURS GIFT WARE JAPAN" sticker on bottom. Cinderella pumpkin style carriage with coachman drawn by a 4 horse team. Victorian style woman emerges from carriage assisted by Victorian style man. Beautifully hand painted vibrant details especially the use of black & gold.

4 horse team has original gold thread reins. Unique about the team is the right front horse has his right front hoof raised. One picture shows his hoof raised off the platform - not often seen. Bottom has shelf wear only - no other signs of wear. Has spent its entire life in air controlled cabinets.
