Vintage Figurine Bay Horse Spirit of Freedom by Royal Doulton 1980s

  
Vintage porcelain bay horse from the Equestrian series titled Spirit of Freedom with a short-lived production run of 3 years only. This piece was originally a Beswick design (H2689) created by Graham Tongue in 1986. Because of the limited production run this piece is rare and highly collectible.

Glossy bay stallion with the right leg raised, arched neck and head turned slightly to the left; there is a white stripe on the face and a white sock on the left front leg. Excellent condition, marked Royal Doulton England on the bottom (black), c1980s.

Measures 7 ½ inches long x 7 inches tall x 2 ½ inches wide.
