Large and rare Goebel West Germany porcelain rearing stallion sculpted by Gerhard Bochmann. This 12.5-inch equestrian masterpiece displays Bochmann's precise anatomical realism and lifelike motion. Produced during Goebel's peak artistry era, circa mid-1960s to early 1970s, this model (32 318 32 / 60) is one of the largest and hardest-to-find stallions ever made by the studio. Authentic Goebel porcelain horse, marked Goebel W. Base impressed "32 318 32" and "60" Bochmann's large model variant. Sculpted by Gerhard Bochmann, noted for his detailed animal studies. Rich matte brown finish with soft satin highlights. Measures approximately 12.5 inches tall; base 4" x 6" oval. Weight: 1 lb 10.8 oz.

Gloss-glazed base with unglazed resting edge. Produced in West Germany, circa 1960s-1970s. No chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing. Excellent condition - elegant and display, ready.
