16"T 14"L, Brass base 12" x 7". This beautiful horse was the work of Charles Carmel a Russian immigrant who came to the United States in 1883. He met an Italian immigrant by the name of M. Borelli whose dream was Carousels and was inspired to inlay the faceted jewels into Carmel s Carousel horses. The original horse is still in existence in a private collection.
