The rider is holding a whip in his right hand and the reigns in his left with a pistol on his hip. Nice base with gold scrolls all around.
The figure is 7.25 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 7.5 inches long. The piece is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath, the impressed model number 382 and 7 and the painter's mark or design number in red NB1758. The figurine displays nicely but is in pretty rough shape. It must have fallen and been broken and then was restored which could have been done better. I'll try to mention everything I can see. The hunter's head was off and is restored back on, there would have been a second dog in the back which is gone except for the back paws, there was work done to the reigns and pistol as well as his spurs, the tree trunk seems to have had a crack in it and more branches or the other dog could have been attached there and there is a chipped leaf. If the piece sits on a shelf it honestly looks fine and is still worth displaying! 20thC German Germany Pferd und Reiter.
